Mark Lekas currently enjoys an active musical life in Chicago. He is principal cellist with the Northwest Indiana Symphony, a member of the Lake Forest Symphony, Ars Viva orchestra, and a substitute with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Sigurdson began playing cello at 10, and he graduated from Juilliard as on of the final students of Leonard Rose. After 20 years as an orchestral cellist, he had a successful 7-year career in marketing research which included receiving his MBA from The University of Chicago.
