Peggy Barber

Peggy is a 40+ year member of the club, has been happily singing and playing the flute for all those years. She holds a degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in Music Education, with a major in voice and minor in flute. She has recently retired from Chicago Choral Artists, a professional ensemble of 28-32 voices. She also sings with the Oak Park Heritage Choral and is a paid singer in several churches in the Chicago area. For WSMC Peggy has served as President, Program Committee co-chair, and is presently Chairman of the Membership Committee. Besides singing, Peggy loves gardening, dog training, playing tennis and RV traveling
