Sladjana Saric
Sladjana Saric, lyric-soprano, originally from Belgrade, Serbia, now resides in Clarendon Hills with her husband and two children. Having sung in NYC and Chicago, Sladjana says she loves the USA. She has an extensive history of international performances, among which are roles at the National Theatre in Belgrade as Marcellina, Geirgetta, Sour Angelica, Mimi, Senta from Wagner. Sladjana was a finalist of the Grandi Voci International Singing Competition at the Oper im Berg, Salzburg. She holds masters of vocal performance from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and a specialization degree in vocal performance from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She also has a bachelor and master degree in flute performance. Sladjana is a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Lakeside Singers, WSMC, and is the owner of the Bel Canto Academy of Music in Burr Ridge providing classes for voice and instruments.
